I recently stayed at Hotel Ibis Budget in Rennes for a night while traveling. The hotel is cheap and perfect for students and travelers on a budget. It's conveniently located near the motorway and there's a lovely shopping center across the road with family-friendly restaurants. Checking in was a breeze with the self-service machine that provided a physical door key. The room was surprisingly clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities including a nice smelling shower gel dispenser, TV, and tea/coffee making facilities.
